After suffering a fatal accident on her wedding day, Eurydice finds herself in a surreal afterlife where human language is forbidden and memories are washed away in the River of Forgetting. Here, she is reunited with her beloved father, who has managed to preserve his memory and ability to read and write. Over time, he helps her to remember her love for her husband, Orpheus, and to contact him. But then she faces a most difficult choice — and the devious Lord of the Underworld has his own plans for these mortals! A contemporary spin on the classic Greek myth, Eurydice is a poetic and powerful exploration of memory, grief, and connections that transcend death.
