Home Coming: Black Art Celebrating The Color Purple! As a companion to The Color Purple: The Musical, local Black artists have been invited to create and share pieces that speak to the core themes of the show; resilience, growth, healing and bravery.
The exhibition will be on display at The Historic Fox Theatre to theatre-goers for the duration of the show run (February 10-26) and an opening reception will be available to the public during ArtWalk on February 3, 5-9 p.m.
The reception is FREE and will feature catering from Mama G’s Kitchen and B & T Baklava, as well as a special custom mocktail from 417 Cocktails. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and chat with some of our artists.
